Training of security staff, courses of firearm for self-defence
Since 2003 ARGUS security company organizes the following (Licence No. 002381, issued by Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania) training courses:
- Security staff training courses;
- Courses of firearm for self-defence.
All volunteers that have secondary education are accepted to the courses of security staff training and courses of firearm for self-defence. For the convienience of working people (to be able to participate), courses are organized on weekends.
Security staff training courses:
The course consist of two parts: theoretical and practical. During the theoretical part of the course, the participants get acquainted with the functions of security staff, specificity of the work, the variety of firearms, their usage opportunities and instructions. They also get acquainted with technical oportunities of security and the operation of technical measures. The participants of the course get psychological fitness as well as medical knowledge about the first aid.
During the practical part of the course, the participants get acquainted with firearms and their structure. Participants execute paractical shooting from different firearms in a shooting-range.
The participants gain professional qualification of security staff as well as the right to possess firearm for self-defence and also they have a right to work with firearm after they complete the course and pass the exam. The gained certification is aknowledged all over the territory of the EU.
All volunteers to participate in the courses and to gain Professional qualification of security staff must have at least secondary education (until 1997 unfinished secondary education) and medical examination certificate (form 049/a).
Courses of firearm for self-defence:
The courses provide the right to acquire firearm for self-defence, nevertheless the courses do not provide the right to work with a firearm.
The programme of the course provides the information about the firearms, the variety of firearms, rules of usage. Also it contains information about laws that regulate disposition of firearms, the laws of safe behavior with firearms and other laws and regulations, which describe conditions of lawfull carrying and use of firearms.
The course length is up to 40 hours.
